"Thank you for "logging on" to Central Baptist Life.com today." Pastor West was born in San Jose, Ca. on Sept. 14,1964 and moved to Montgomery, Al. as a young child. It was there that he spent most of his life until he went off to college at Pensacola Christian College after graduating from Calvary Christian Academy. He met his wife, Darcie, who is from Fort Wayne, In, in the fall of 1986. He graduated from PCC in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible. He and Darcie were married on August 1, 1987. They have three sons, Ethan, Evan and Eran. Ethan attends Word of Life Bible Institute while Evan and Eran are close to graduating from their respective high schools. Pastor West served at Central from 2001-2006 and then left for Wake Forest, NC to finish his schooling at the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree. He then returned to Central in July of 2009 to serve as our Executive Pastor. Pastor West has been involved in various capacities in the local church ministry as student Pastor, Associate Pastor and Interim Pastor. He and Darcie have also been very involved in the Christian School ministry as both teacher and administrator for our over twenty years. Together they served as both teacher and administrator for over twenty years. Together they have served in local church and school ministries since 1987. Pastor West was selected and elected to be Central Baptist Church's Senior Pastor March Twenty-Fifth Two Thousand Twelve.
